The reigning league champions are heading into the season with big goals: win back-to-back titles for the first time in history. While the Boys Varsity Football Team lost some key players from last year, younger players added new talent and coaches have developed them into starters, ensuring the team stays strong.

 The season didn’t get off to an easy start, with two losses already under the team’s  belt, but the toughest part of the schedule is behind them. The upcoming games are much more manageable, and the team is optimistic about picking up wins and building momentum. Captain Zander Stempel ‘25 says “We’re a young team trying to find our identity after losing a lot of starters.”

 With confidence growing and pressure easing, the football team looks ready to turn things around. The rest of the season should give them the chance to prove they’re still championship material.
