Friday Recap 12/10/21

Julia Marrinan–

Winter Wildcat Week started off strong on Tuesday, December 7, with Girls Varsity Basketball and Girls Varsity Hockey winning their games against Masters and Friends Academy. Wednesday, December 8, saw similar outcomes with Boys Varsity Basketball, Boys Varsity Hockey, and both Varsity Squash teams emerging victorious.

Students are looking forward to the six home games taking place after school today, Friday, December 10. Boys Varsity Hockey and Boys JV Basketball will each have games at 4:30 against Greenwich Country Day and Greens Farms Academy, respectively. There will be a wrestling match against Trinity School at the same time. A Boy’s Varsity Squash match with Friends Academy will follow at 4:45, with Girls Varsity Basketball closing at 6:15 against Greens Farms Academy. Students should participate in the whiteout spirit to show their support.

The first large student gathering in the PAC will take place today, when the Upper School gathers for the Winter Choral Concert. The concert will include performance from the Concert Choir, Honors Choirs, and Wildscats.

Another event after school today is the Dance with a Purpose student choreography showcase at 7:00 p.m. in the Black Box Theater. Tickets are free, but attendees are encouraged to make a donation to Dancing Dreams, a non-profit organization that provides lessons for dancers with disabilities.
